Recapitulation is an energetic practice of removing all attachment to that past event by consciously re-living it in as real a way as possible, while holding a neutral emotional state and breathing back/releasing energy from the event. The practitioner is there as an un-biased participant whose sole purpose is to reclaim the energy that they have lost, and release any foreign energy that they have taken on.
