Edinburgh International (1.5 hours’ drive from Lendrick Lodge), Glasgow International (1.25 hours’ drive). In tourist season, allow 2 hours’ driving from either airport.

From airport to Lendrick, by public transport:
• From Edinburgh International Airport, catch shuttle bus (No. 100) to Edinburgh Waverley Station; cost £3 single and £5 return. Runs every 20 minutes – journey takes 25 minutes
• From Glasgow International Airport, catch shuttle bus (No. 905) to Glasgow Queen Street Station; cost £3.30 single and £5 return. Runs every 15 minutes – journey takes 25 minutes

• Cross road to Stirling Bus Station
• Catch FirstBus No. 59 to Callander (leaves 6 minutes to the hour; reduced service on Sundays) – for information call Traveline on 0871 2002233 or visit www.journeyplanner.org
• In Callander, either phone taxi (01877 330496) to get to Lendrick Lodge – cost approximately £10, or go into Dreadnought Hotel. They will phone for you.

Dial a Bus
The ‘Dial a Bus’ service offers a reduced rate of travel (under £3 per person approx) from Callander to Lendrick Lodge. Needs to phoned 24 hours in advance. Phone 0844 567 5670 to book or for more information.

• From Edinburgh, take M9 to Stirling. From Glasgow, take M80 to Stirling, and join M9 to Stirling
• Stay on M9 until Junction 10 – turn off for Callander and Trossachs
• Follow A84 to Callander, and through Callander
• Turn left on A821 – signposted Aberfoyle and Trossachs Trail. White pub called Laid Inn on left at turning
• Follow A821 for 15 minutes until you see signs for Lendrick Lodge
