Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force Energy, an energy that is all around us.
There is no religious belief system attached to Reiki, so anyone can receive or learn to give a Reiki treatment. You only have to want to be healed.
The method of receiving a Reiki treatment from a qualified practitioner is very simple. The recipient simply lies or sits on a couch and relaxes. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki will pass through anything, even plaster.
The practitioner gently places their hands on or above certain areas on the body to assist energy flow.
It is thought that when energy is flowing freely in the body we have the potential for perfect health. A Reiki treatment takes one hour and costs £40.
Which conditions can Reiki healing treatment help?
