tourist season, allow 2 hours’ driving from either airport.

From Edinburgh International Airport, catch shuttle bus (No.
100) to Edinburgh Waverley Station; cost £3 single and
£5 return. Runs every 20 minutes – journey takes
25 minutes • From Glasgow International Airport, catch
shuttle bus (No. 905) to Glasgow Queen Street Station; cost
£3.30 single and £5 return. Runs every 15 minutes

• Catch train to Stirling. For enquiries about train

• Cross road to Stirling Bus Station
• Catch FirstBus No. 59 to Callander (leaves 5 minutes
past the hour; reduced service on Sundays) – for information

• In Callander, either phone taxi (01877 331240) to
get to Lendrick Lodge – cost approximately £10,
or go into Dreadnought Hotel. They will phone for you.

Catch the Post Bus which leaves Callander Post Office (outside
Dreadnought Hotel) at 09.15 (Mon-Sat) and 14.30 (Mon-Fri)
– ask for Lendrick Lodge, cost approximately £1.30.

If you are arriving by car
• From Edinburgh, take M9 to Stirling. From Glasgow,
take M80 to Stirling, and join M9 to Stirling
• Stay on M9 until Junction 10 – turn off for
Callander and Trossachs
• Follow A84 to Callander, and through Callander
• Turn left on A821 – signposted Aberfoyle and
Trossachs Trail. White pub called Laid Inn on left at turning
• Follow A821 for 15 minutes until you see signs for
Lendrick Lodge |
