From the journey of Christ to the heart of the Native American vision quests, great spirits have sought and found their true nature within the peace and tranquillity of the greater nature of the desert. The Quest Of The Heart hollows us out like a flute so that the great spirit can play the most harmonious song of our soul’s calling. In the desert you will experience what Shamans and medicine people have awakened for thousands of years within themselves. Enjoy this ancient spiritual pilgrimage led by practical mystic Peggy Dylan. Peggy has been leading spiritual pilgrimages into wilderness environments for two decades, she will support you to drink deeply from the secret gifts hidden in the Quest of the Heart and remember what your dreams for your life really are.

Native American Ceremony
Traditional Native American teachings by indigenous Shamans. Receive blessings and experience ritual from native healers and medicine people. Enjoy ancient dances and ceremonies carried down through the lineage of time that can gift you with tools to carry for the rest of your life. The healing and deep insights that you will experience with these teachers can create profound and deep internal shifts which positively alter your external reality. Opening up to being truly soul full, we are ready to ‘dance with Spirit’.

The ceremonial work will include medicine pipe journeys with Apache/Mexican Shaman Morning Star, among others.

Weaving the Magic in our Life
Santa Fe’s Sandra Ingerman will be sharing her life long passion for shamanism and reconnecting our hearts with our Mother Earth’s. Sandra will share teachings and guided journeys to help you deepen your roots with our living planet and discover ways to weave this connection into your work, dreams and life. Sandra will merge our practical and spiritual lives through ritual, song and experience. This is a unique opportunity to study with one of the world’s most highly respected spiritual teachers.

Moving with the Desert
Learn how to travel through nature in harmony with your surroundings, walking in beauty with the natural world. Deepen your ability to co-exist with the animals and the wild environment. Within this group journey into the desert you will also learn teachings on local plant and wildlife, as it is imperative to know and feel kinship with the environment we will Quest in. This journey plants good roots into the land that will be holding you and is also a necessary introduction for you to meet the plant Spirits and Teachers of Nature that you will connect with on your Quest of the Heart. Steve Brougher, Wildlife Biologist by training, and lover of all wild landscapes by choice, will be leading you on this journey into the stillness and beauty of the heart of the desert landscape.

Stephen will facilitate and teach different journeying and visioning rituals to enable the best possible outcomes to manifest in your life. Pilgrimage to Sacred Sites
Imagine stepping back in time to the world of the Pueblos of New Mexico to experience and see the spirited community of the indigenous tribes. We will spend a day exploring and experiencing the energies of Bandelier. This National Monument is a miraculous site of ancient enchantment, with some of the most unusual and interesting ancient ruins in the Southwest of America. Steep narrow canyons with plentiful wildlife, mountains rising to 10,000 feet, many acres of unspoilt backcountry and a colourful section of the Rio Grande river valley await you. The cave dwellings made in the rock face are a preserved doorway of an ancient civilisation for you to step through.

Santa Fe
Our work will take place in the dessert just beyond Santa Fe, and our final day and night will be enjoyed in the heart of this spirited city. Nestled at 7000 feet in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Santa Fe, New Mexico, the "City Different", is America's oldest capital city and claims a long history and rich cultural heritage. Founded as a capital city in 1607 by Spanish explorers, it was once claimed by the Pueblo Peoples, the Spanish Crown, Mexico, and the Confederacy. In 1846, it was ceded by Mexican Federation to the U.S. Present day Santa Fe is internationally renowned for its contemporary, artistic expressions. The city is celebrated by an unsurpassed quality: ambience. Santa Fe is famous for its culture, art and traditions. It is home to America's third largest art market, the Santa Fe Opera, world class local cuisine, hundreds of intriguing shops, and unlimited outdoor activities.

Orientate your Quest within a Spiritual Retreat Centre
We will be orientating our journey within 111 acres of private land used for spiritual nurturing. The creeks, dry river beds, mountains and mesmerising deserts will be our guides as we unfold the next stages of our lives.

We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary and guest teachers for Quest of Shamanism. We also respect teachers wishes to make changes during the course to ensure the best possible results for the group.
