Fire
in the Heart
with Peggy Dylan
7pm Friday 30 March - 2pm Sunday 1 April
When Buddhism arrived in Tibet 1200 years ago with Guru Padmasambava,
Bön was the dominant religion in both Tibet and Central
Asia.
It was a powerful, wild, mystical
and religious practice which had flourished there for over
10’000 years.
The search for compassion and wisdom is the same in Buddhism
and Bön and His Holiness the Dalai Lama has acknowledged
the importance of Bön in defining Tibetan culture.
The fifth Dalai Lama once said that he was Buddhist
by nature, but Bön by heart.
Bön teaches that skilful use of
thought energy, by understanding the nature of it and
then transforming it, creates ‘fire in the heart’.
This is the key to empowerment and with its use we can
work daily miracles in our lives.
In this informative, well-structured and spiritually inspiring
weekend we will explore the power of the ‘fire in the
heart’ with Peggy Dylan, mother of the contemporary firewalking
movement. You will learn how to generate this
fire and skilfully use it through your emotions, intentions
and actions.
The principles of Bön’s
fire in the heart can be applied to every major area of your
life bringing clarity, transformation and success.
An optional firewalk is part
of the weekend. Course Cost
£190 (£150 if booked by 28 January), Food and
accommodation £75.
